Setting up World-Class-Incubator by ITE&C Dept with IC2, University of Texas, Austin and FICCI at Tirupati

The State of Andhra Pradesh‘s innovation & Start up Policy establishes one of the most forward thinking economic and education initiatives in India. Andhra Pradesh leaders are dedicated to build the personnel and infrastructure necessary to make the state the pre eminent local for entrepreneurship and technology development in India

Continuing with the State's ambition to build the new state of Andhra Pradesh as an innovation society, ‘Andhra Pradesh Innovation and Startup Policy 2014-2020' is put in place with vision to create a world class ‘technology start-up ecosystem' by fostering entrepreneurship and a culture of innovation' which contributes to increased knowledge, wealth and employment in our society.

In this regard, Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society of ITE&C Dept, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) & IC2 Institute of The University of Texas have joined hands together to nurture the talent by providing infrastructure needed for a world-class technology start-up ecosystem. This will done through a Global Accelerator and Incubator Program & setting up an Incubation Center at Tirupati which will be a model of economic development.

Agreement signing ceremony program was held on April 27, 2016 at Hotel Lalit New Delhi . Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy, Hon Minister of IT, GoAP was present at this function along with other dignitaries.
