Dr. Anita Gupta served as a faculty of Mechanical
Engineering at Govt. Engineering College, Raipur. Later she
joined the industrial R&D Department of Indian Institute
of Technology (IIT), Delhi. After having a brief stint at
Consultancy Development Center, a nodal agency for the promotion
of technical consultancy in India, she joined the Department
of Science & Technology.
She is actively involved in handling various
Institutional based mechanisms for promotion of techno-entrepreneurship
in India like Technology Business Incubators, Science &
Technology Entrepreneurs Park and Entrepreneurship Development
Cells. At present, she is Principal Scientific Officer in
the Department. She has gained good exposure on the mechanism
of Technology Business Incubator both at the International
and National level. She has actively participated in International
conferences and also acted as a UN-ESCAP resource person.
She has been involved in organizing national and regional
level conferences and workshops on Incubators. Various articles
and technical papers have been contributed by her in leading
national and international periodicals, journals and newsletters.
