Trivandrum-based Technopark TBI jointly received the Best TBI award from DST for the year 2006. TTBI has incubated 72 firms so far, of which 40 have already graduated successfully. The incubator focuses on technology development and product-based companies.

TTBI is associated with Technopark, Trivandrum, an autonomous society promoted by the Government of Kerala. Technopark is India's first technology park and among the three largest IT parks in India today. This is the first CMMI Level 5 assessed Technology Park. Spread over 300 acres, and about 2.1 m. sq.ft. of built-up space, Technopark hosts over 120 IT and ITES companies, including 6 CMMI Level 5, 2 CMMI Level 3 and several ISO 9000 certified companies, employing over 15,000 IT Professionals. It is the IT hub of the State of Kerala, and based in Trivandrum which can rightfully claim to be the knowledge capital of the region. Technopark provides world class, robust and failsafe physical, power and data communication infrastructure, offering a no compromise yet low-cost enabling environment for IT industry that is leveraged by its occupant companies for a competitive advantage. A spectrum of unique Business Value-Adds bears testimony to Technopark's vision of providing a holistic enabling environment to make knowledge industry intrinsically competitive and successful

Technopark also houses a Software Engineering Competency Centre (TSECC) in association with IBM, where free access to cutting edge software engineering tools is combined with expert handholding, and a Business Innovation Centre (T-BIC) for incubating successful knowledge enterprises.

TTBI has been incubating technology development and product based companies to become successful business enterprises. TTBI also extends mentoring from various technology and management experts who are proficient in guiding the incubatees. TTBI provide incubatees with necessary infrastructure support, technology/ prototype development support, research assistance, help in getting VC funding and Seed Support, mentoring & business consulting assistance and do whatever is necessary to make the start-up a success.
